I can't begin to tell you (although I guess that is exactly what I'm doing, isn't it?) how pleased we are with the green insulation you recently installed. The results of the installation were immediate and obvious. We had had a new air-conditioning system installed in our home just over a year ago and that certainly helped make a difference but to have conditions comfortable in the house, we had to set the thermostat at 76 degrees, occasionally on the more wicked days lowering it to 75.
Then we had the green insulation installed. Since then, we have enjoyed setting the thermostat at 79 degrees and never having to adjust it! There was an immediate lowering of our monthly electric bill in spite of the excessive heat we have been experiencing this year. We congratulated ourselves on a really smart move to have the insulation installed before the heat wave struck and we are now enjoying not only the comfort, but the notable financial savings as well.
Years ago we made a similar wise decision when we had you replace all our windows and doors. Having the green insulation installed not only made sense, but it is making is cents (and then some!) every month. Roughly, we estimate our monthly electric savings at no less than $30.00, a most respectable number. As always the experience of having work done in our home by Kelly Window and Door has been most enjoyable and we see the rewards of our action every month in our new and much lower electric bill.

I wanted to let you know that we LOVE the new windows you installed last January! They look great and do an amazing job keeping the house at a comfortable temperature. We have an 18 year old AC unit that we were certain we would need to replace this year. In the past it has run continuously in the hot weather. Not this summer! It shuts on and off regularly. The only reason we can figure this is working so well is the new windows keeping out the heat. Our thermostat is in the afternoon sun and it still cycles on and off. We are really enjoying our sunroom, even though we don’t have the new furniture in place yet. Catherine thinks it’s her playroom and doesn’t know she’ll have to start sharing it soon. We can already tell that the new storm windows and doors are cutting down on the outside noise that we hear. We’re looking forward to the improved energy efficiency they will provide this winter.
Working with your company was such a great experience.
